Why are they important?

School Board Trustees are Community Leaders!

Trustees build and maintain relationships with the entire community and have a responsibility to all the families within it. They work with other board members and community partners to ensure equal opportunities for all students.

To learn more about the role and duties of Trustees, check out the Ontario Municipal School Board’s Trustee Site: http://elections.ontarioschooltrustees.org/BecomeATrustee.

The MDSAB has 5 school trustees who have been elected to serve a four year term from 2018-2022.  The Trustees meet monthly with the Board to bring forward and review issues and concerns of our community and make decisions based on the best interest of our students.
